Ampacet produces copolymer based, brominated flame retardants for use in a variety of resin systems. These are suitable for extrusion coating and other high temperature applications, are non-blooming and exhibit good thermal and UV stability. They also do not adversely affect sealability in films.
Ampacet also offers a non-halogenated flame retardant that is copolymer-based and highly concentrated.
Other options include polypropylene based masterbatches that are compatible with PP and TPO resins. Black formulas are available for flame resistant tubing, telecom cable, corrugated duct products requiring long term UV stability.
Typical applications include transportation, building and construction, furnishings, fibers, electrical and electronics.
