BatchSave™ Hybrid seamlessly integrates two proven systems: the BatchSave® gravimetric batch blender and the ColorSave® 1000 gravimetric feeder, all in a single, compact unit. This innovative solution provides precise control for complex multi-ingredient recipes, delivering rapid and uniform batch blending with highly accurate additive dosing, plus real-time material usage data tracking and verification. The compact design makes it perfect for limited spaces on processing machines.
BatchSave Hybrid includes four gravimetric batch channels for high percentage ingredients, two gravimetric feeders for low percentage ingredients, and an integrated controller. As an all-in-one solution, it requires no separate controls or additional hardware and is compatible with injection, extrusion, and blow molding processes.
The ColorSave feeders feature the SmartClean automated function for fast material changeovers (less than 10 seconds with the press of the empty button) of the color masterbatches and/or additives. Isolated additive and color dosing eliminates the need for full system purging of base resins, enabling faster changeovers.
Compared to traditional blenders or feeder-only systems, BatchSave Hybrid provides accurate blending of resin materials while allowing for precise dosing of costly color masterbatches and additives at low usage rates (<0.5%) without contaminating resin blending channels, ensuring fast color changeovers.
