Ampacet Asia has been operating in Thailand for 3 years and supplied white and additives concentrate for Asian market. Business has been growing at a pace of 40% per year.
The company will further improve its products offering by installing a color facility consisting of a Color Service Center and a Color Operation in ESIE – Rayong, Thailand. Color Service Center will start in August 2003. This Center is geared to design new colors for customers based in Southeast Asia. End users will be able to come and design colors on real time with Ampacet people or to send their requirements through Ampacet sales network. Equipments such as blown film, cast film, and injection molding will be available 24 hours a day to simulate customers’ end products.
Beginning 2004, a Color Manufacturing facility will come on stream. It will be operating under a dust-free system with no environmental impact caused by pigments handling.
“The factory will be so clean that there will be no need for waste process water treatment. New process technology called RTUC (Ready to use color) will also permit very fast changes between products and high color accuracy”, says Christian CARNEVALI, General Manager of Ampacet Asia.
Colors concentrates will complete the range of white and additives and will position more Ampacet Asia as a “one stop service” supplier.
