Ampacet will feature ColorSave® 1000 and ColorSave®-Micro feeders and the BlendSave® automated resin and blending system in Booth M-810 at Molding 2021, to be held Sept. 21-23 in Rosemont, Illinois.

The LIAD ColorSave 1000 gravimetric feeder features an outer protective shell with an inner floating weigh hopper and single-point load cell to ensure accuracy, even in industrial settings affected by vibration. Advanced algorithms deliver unmatched dosing precision regardless of material density changes or other dynamic parameters. It also features an industry-first: Smart Clean, which enables operators to switch colors quickly without physically accessing and opening the feeder to clean it out, resulting in significant savings in labor and production time.

Ampacet also offers the industry-first LIAD ColorSave-Micro gravimetric feeder for the fast-growing micro-molding industry segment that enables accurate dosing down to one pellet for applications in the medical, automotive, 3D printing and electronics industries.

The easy-to-clean feeder is ideal for medical micro-molding applications requiring clean rooms as well as other applications requiring precise continuous delivery of very small quantities of additives or colors.

Ampacet will also feature the LIAD Smart BlendSave automated resin and blending system, which boosts uptime, reduces labor costs and improves accuracy, quality and efficiency. The patented design manages multiple resins and recipes for multiple machines, generating “lights out” operations.

With centralized precision weighing and mixing at the machine, BlendSave provides an ROI value and flexibility previously thought to be unachievable in a blending system.

Unlike conventional blending systems, which can be wasteful, inefficient and overly complex, BlendSave accurately weighs ingredients individually and conveys an assembled recipe through dedicated lines to a mixer at each molding or extrusion machine.
