POP™ masterbatches enable blow molded plastics to by-pass process and downstream problems typically associated with high gloss resin. In addition, POP™ technology ensures faster purging during color change-over, reduces line down-time, enhances quality, and optimizes daily production output.
FormulaX™ High-Impact for PET Colors
Ampacet has specially formulated FormulaX™, a new, dry PET based masterbatch that eliminates the need to pre-blend and pre-dry PET bottle and film resins before processing. The FormulaX™ family of masterbatches works with single or dual stage molding processes, sheet extrusions and thermoforming. Machinery venting is not required.
Frosted Masterbatch
Ampacet’s innovative frosted masterbatch (Ampacet 603122-PT and 603121-PT) takes PET and other clear resins to an upscale level. Effects from translucent to opaque with finishes from high luster to matte (Ampacet 603121-PT) or subtle blue or green color tones of vintage glass (Ampacet 672226-PT and 669467-PT) are achieved in a single time and cost-saving step during stretch blow molding and thermoforming.
LiquidMetal™ for the Look of Reflective Metal
LiquidMetal™ masterbatches for PET ramps up the visual impact with color, depth and intensity that rivals the highly buffed look of clear-coat metal automotive finishes. LiquidMetal’s dry masterbatch formulation improves color dispersion and eliminates feed throat clogging and screw slippage.
